Hey Stashionistas!  Okay, so we have become a little obsessed with this ability to compare and contrast items we are seeing in print and items in our Stash...we are so happy to show YOU that you can get these maja aspirationals that we are spending an utter fortune pouring through the magazines.  Seriously, full disclosure, we have a magazine problem, this just gives us a terrific rationalization.  So, thank YOU stashionitas, for being our enablers.  Hee hee.

So, here goes.  From the modern master of American finery, Peter Som, comes our absolute favorite dress EVER.  Yes, we loved our Badgley Mischka wedding dress, but this is honestly SO much better.  White, black, with lace and feathers, it feels like a cloud of silk, and floats like one.  Check it out:

Are you dying?  I cannot even tell you the tears I have cried that this dress simply does NOT fit me.  Sniff Sniff.  Okay, so here is our contrast....Here is actress and "The Mentalist" star, Alicia Witt, wearing a Rafael Cennamo dress at the Emmys.  While we think "The Mentalist" is a cheap rip-off of our fave show "Psych" this dress shuts it down.

Loves it!!

Have a great day, Stashionistas.  Tomorrow we are taping a segment for BetterTV which will air on the 12th, so look for it!!

Madonna goes to The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City

Okay, so there remains no one cooler than Madonna.  Yes, her music has been lacking since, well, since the 80s, but the lady knows how to dress.  Here she is in all her glory rocking every trend in the book: texture, black, height, and elegance.  How can a Stashionista get this?  Well, we are always figuring out HOW to make the aspirational accessible.    Shall we start with the shoes?

Let's try these on:  Brian Atwood purple mary janes.  These create the multi strap look that Madge is rocking.

On to the jacket...if it's texture you're after, how about this amazing Devi Kroell bag?  Seriously chic....

I mean.  Really.  Is there anything hotter?  Maybe just Madonna.....
